Our studio was designed by acoustician Alan Fierstein and professionally built by acoustic carpenter Chris Harmaty of Audiostructures. The studio's four walls and ceiling (each composed of three layers of 5/8-inch sheetrock with Rockwool in between) are all supported on a 3/4-inch heavy plywood floating floor, which sits on heavy neoprene pads. The walls, ceiling and floor do not touch the building.
